Spanish couple Marcial and Andrea have turned a neglected house into a beautiful, modern home. The renovation was tackled together with Marcial’s brother, who runs the design firm Boor Studio. I love the mosaic tile floors as they are a striking feature of this home. The tiles are known as Nolla tiles as they were made by the Nolla factory near Valencia, Spain.

  • I’m in love with this kind of tiles. I’m looking for similar for my bathroom floor and for the kitchen wall. I think that white bathroom with blue floor and tiles in style will look great and bring some mediterranian vibe at home.

  • Precioso piso…me encanta todo lo que tiene y como lo han restaurado aprovechando su potencial, habéis tenido mucho mucho gusto. Sobre todo, que habéis respetado los suelos hidráulicos. Felicitaciones!

  • Oh I’m in love! I think this might be my favorite Style Files home tour so far…

I adore the different tiled floors, the gallery walls, the attention to detail with each specially chosen light fixture, and the little pops of color in each room (from the green telephone, to all the fresh flowers).

It’s so delicate, thoughtful, artistic, bohemian, uncluttered, sophisticated. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

  • The pattern tile floors are beautiful. However, the last one is wood interlocking squares that can be bought at Big Lots. Yikes. My favorites are the bedrooms, and I’m really wanting the bathroom floor in my own home. I wish more homes out my way would have such. The architecture here would compliment any of the floors showcased sweetly.
