Paros and Antiparos are some of the lesser known Greek Cyclades islands but both islands have been gaining popularity in the past years. New restaurants and boutique hotels are arriving such as Greek-owned Beach House on Antiparos which opened last summer. This restaurant and beach bar is located right on Apantima Beach, one of most secluded and wind protected small bays in Antiparos. They also offer boutique accommodation which you can find on their website but also on on Airbnb. The island of Antiparos, located 1.9km southwest from Paros Island, is a laid back place ideal for peaceful and quiet vacations. There are many beautiful beaches and the calm cycladic landscape, with the scattered churches, the famous cave and the Enetic castle, is ideal for sightseeing. I have been to some of the Cyclades islands but never to Antiparos but it is definitely on my list of places to visit.

This is exactly how I pictured a beach house on Greece, just perfect!

Such a beautiful place and so many memories! Paros was a pleasant surprise during our honeymoon, in between Mykonos and Santorini. Less pretentious but oh so magical. Here’s my blog post about it if you’d like to see: http://ramblingcolors.com/en/2015/05/paros-is-for-lovers/
I wish I could go back and stay in Antiparos. Besos!
Looking to spend a month for 30th anniversary on Paris/Antiparos. Any apartments you can recommend? Thanks
