Welcome back! I just returned from a two week holiday in the South of France. We had a wonderful time relaxing on the beach, eating delicious food, doing some sight seeing and enjoying quality family time. I will tell you more in a later stage (in the mean time you can see some holiday images here on Instagram). Now it’s back to business which means showing beautiful houses for you to enjoy. I start with this cozy nordic style home overlooking a Norwegian fjord. Owners Hilde and Kristian Eriksen did not only built and designed their house but also designed most of the interior. Daylight has been used as much as possible to give a light and airy feel. For instance there are no curtains so light can freely flow in. I love the use of natural materials (such as wood, rattan and linen fabrics) which gives a soft and warm feel.

I also love the natural materials used here, specially the wood flooring and one of my favorite part is the vertical panelling. Keep it up and continue sharing your projects, so refreshing in the eye. 🙂
