a swedish holiday home

This beautiful summer house, located in the village of Simris Österlen in Sweden, belongs to Jonas Svensson and Tomas Åkesson. The house was last renovated in the 1950’s and it took them over a year to turn this 100 sq feet house into their dream home.

Jonas: “We wanted to create a generous house with room for socializing, parties and overnight guests. But it also had to be a place for recreation and creativity”. Jonas works for IKEA which explains the many IKEA items in the rooms.

  9. Hi there. Do you have a contact for the owner of this wonderful home? I’m from an interiors magazine, and would love to get in touch with them. Many thanks – nick.clarke@augustmedia.com.
