It might be September but summer has not ended yet! Today’s post features a beautiful summer home on Sifnos, a Greek island belonging to the Cyclades islands group and situated in the heart of the Aegean sea, close to Milos and Serifos islands. Boasting its authentic Cycladic architecture, Sifnos is dotted with cubic whitewashed houses. This is what Conde Nast Travel has to say about the island: “The Greek island of Sifnos has a sizzling food scene and some of the most romantic hotels in Greece. Life on this small Cycladic island is slow, sweet, and blissfully simple”. Villa Avlaki is perched on the rugged cliffs of Sifnos watching over the azure blue water of the sea. The brown and ochre hues of its rustic stone facade blend seamlessly with the natural environment around it, complemented by terra cotta pots and wooden outdoor furniture. Inside, the clean white walls and light wood accents are balanced by pops of jewel tones in the throw pillows and wall art.
