I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas! Today it is back to business with this beautiful home in Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver (Canada). The house, which has been renovated by Canadian architects Scott & Scott, was originally constructed in the 1950s and was in need of a modern facelift. The client, as well as the architect, has a wish to use natural materials that are finished traditionally. The result is a beautiful combination of old and new and of traditional and modern.

Hi! Where is the wooden chair from? (The one with the sheepskin throw on it!)
A home renovation can require a client to make difficult decisions. One of these difficult decisions is whether to remove a wall and if that wall can be removed. The removal of a wall within a space can be costly as there is the possibility of unexpected costs. You have interesting blog. Thanks!
