It is hard to believe that this beautiful bright family home in the Los Angeles hills of Topanga was once a hunting cabin. Artist and owner of General Store (which is a stunning lifestyle shop with locations in Los Angeles and San Francisco) Serena Mitnik-Miller shares the cottage with her husband and their newborn son. The renovation of the one room hunting cabin (which was build in 1927) was a labour of love. The couple worked hard to strip the place down. And because it was so fragile they did most of the demolition themselves. I love the decor which is minimalistic yet warm. All furniture pieces and accessories are carefully selected to create a beautiful, balanced atmosphere.
