During the renovation of this Swedish apartment, the owners got a pleasant surprise. Under the particle board floor parts they found a beautiful wooden floor. They decided to keep this floor and to sell the terrazzo floor tiles which they already ordered. I love the beautiful soft color scheme in the apartment. Especially the cool grey tones combined with the wooden Alvar Aalto chairs in the dining area (image below). The ochre colored sofa (image above) gives color and warmth.

I really enjoy the simplicity in this space. Cool, relaxing and stylish – a perfect oasis. The key to pulling off this look is having interesting furniture pieces. Beautiful home!
