Everyone was has ever renovated a house knows that the bathroom is one of the most challenging rooms to design. This is because bathrooms are generally the smallest spaces in a home. Therefore it is essential to use available space as efficient as possible. And with our busy lives for most of us a bathroom is not only functional (for a quick shower in the morning) but also serves as a peaceful oasis after a hard day’s work. It is a place to escape from everyday stresses, and to relax and recharge your batteries. When designing my own bathroom I used an online tool to make the best design choices and to help me visualize all possible options.

Villeroy & Boch, a European company with 267 of experience in designing bathroom products, has two very handy tools. With the Bathroom Planner you can easily create a clear floor plan based on the dimensions of your bathroom. The 3D view provides a clear depiction of the interaction between your bathroom furnishings and sanitary facilities. The zoom feature is very handy as it allows you to view the bathroom from different angles, as well as giving you an impression of how the bathroom will look when you step into it. When creating the bathroom of your dreams with the Bathroom Planner you can win the actual bathroom that you have designed. Isn’t that exciting? This contest runs from 7th May until 31st July.

With the Villeroy & Boch Bathroom Inspirator you can find inspiration and explore a wide selection of design options. By mixing and matching various products, colors and shapes you can define your personal style. Both tools are very intuitive and user friendly.

Villeroy & Boch is a highly innovative company with a time-honoured tradition. Since it was founded 267 years ago this Germany manufacturing company has developed into an international lifestyle brand which is available in 125 countries around the world. Their latest bath collection, Venticello, combines form and function. This large product family meets the highest requirements for modern, individual bathroom design.
