I’m loving this photo which I found on Design*Sponge. This is the living room of a house designed by Jessica Helgerson. The clients for this project in Portland, USA, were a young family with a very modern aesthetic. The color palette is a simple gradation of whites and cool grays with some bright accents. The gorgeous knitted poufs are from Dutch designer Christien Meindertsma. An affordable version of a crocheted pouf is available from Le Souk.

The room is beautiful and balanced, but my eye immediately goes to the curvy mirror accents around the door frame. I love that idea! It’s like a ribbon in the wind.
What a powerful living room design that wood flooring is just so gorgeous looking!
Good tips and advice given. It is not easy to secure an interior design position given the credit crunch and Great starting point for homeowners, designers or developers to get some ideas on improving properties. Wow! The photos on this site are fantastic. If a designer produced results like these, you would be very pleased to pay for such results.
