During the Dutch Design Week 2007 in Eindhoven Anna ter Haar, graduate of the Design Academy, showed her graduation project ‘Buitenbeentje‘. Buitenbeentje, which is Dutch for odd man out, is a research on the qualities of poly-urethane resin. Anna is fascinated by everything that differs the normal: the odd man out, the freaks. Anna: ‘Certain appearances that are so ugly and disgusting that they become interesting’. The stools are part of the project and were on display at this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan.
