This bench by Jo Nagasaka of Tokyo-based Schemata Architecture Office is made of six chairs and a plank of wood. Gorgeous!

The book(s) supported chair is cute but as a whole, back to the drawing board. Lot of effort (or not) to create something that isnt particularly functional, interesting, or clever.
