This is great for small spaces! No wonder this compact dining area is designed by a Japanese furniture designer.
Unfortunately this genius design is only available in Japan..

Those are great if the people you are eating with vary greatly in height. Cool (old) idea, put to waste.

A cute little dining set, though those chairs don’t look very comfortable. I’m more drawn to the pieces of furniture that have multiple purposes too. Now if it turned into a bookcase when it wasn’t being used…

Looks small in the picture. Might just be made to match the Japanese median height.
