Kydex Kitchen by Sietze Kalwijk

For very small houses like the one in my previous post, this compact kitchen designed by Sietze Kalwijk from The Netherlands could be a solution. The Kydex Kitchen is a modular cooking facility, whereby the theme for each step of the design process was food preparation. The principle aim during the design of this “kitchen” was to exclude conventions, façades and hidden functionality. The kitchen consists of four parts which are put together without means of attachment. Gas, water and drainage are easily and quickly connected by means of simple couplings and complete the kitchen visually and functionally. Very clever!

If I use this kitchen I would dress it in a skirt and make my kitchen kind of vintage/country.
