The negative space of this furniture, in the shape of cats and birds, is not only fun to look at but also has a function as it can be used as storage space. The playful collection of foam furniture, called Fill in the Cat, is designed by NEL. This Mexican collective of designers has joined forces to explore, through concept and form, the interaction in design between traditional materials and techniques, and new processes or unusual applications. That is so adorable! And so for me - although I try and stear clear of cat-themed decor because I figure it’s enough that I have 4 cats.
